Job Purpose

We seek an experienced, highly motivated, and passionate Fundraising and Grant Application Volunteer to join our team and help expand our reach and impact within the community.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential funding sources for Arise Brentwood's programs and initiatives.

  • Develop and submit compelling grant applications that align with Arise Brentwood's mission and objectives.

  • Collaborate with the team to create and implement engaging fundraising events that appeal to local businesses and the wider community.

  • Coordinate and manage all fundraising activities, including donor cultivation, sponsorships, and community engagement efforts.

  • Actively participate in planning and organising community events, ensuring smooth execution and maximising participation and support.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to secure long-term support for Arise Brentwood. Actively participate in planning and organising community events, ensuring smooth execution and maximising participation and support.

  • Stay updated on fundraising trends, strategies, and best practices to develop our fundraising efforts continuously.

Skills and Requirements:
  • Previous experience in applying for small, medium, and large grants, with a proven track record of success.

  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing creative fundraising events that inspire community involvement and donations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive grant applications and engage potential donors.

  • Strong organisational and project management abilities, ensuring the effective implementation of fundraising initiatives.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a diverse community setting.

  • A passion for Arise Brentwood's mission and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of local young people.

This position is not remunerated, but reasonable expenses incurred while fulfilling the duties of the role are reimbursed.
